In July 2024, faculty and students from the School of Electrical and Electronic Information at Xihua University embarked on a one-week cognitive internship at Chengdu EBYTE Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. This internship aimed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the latest trends and technological applications in the IoT (Internet of Things) industry, laying a solid foundation for their future careers.
Specialized Industry Knowledge Training
To enhance the students’ understanding of cutting-edge knowledge in the IoT sector, EBYTE meticulously planned a specialized industry knowledge training session. Led by the company's engineers, the training covered a wide range of topics, including the basic concepts of IoT, technical architectures, application scenarios, and future development trends.
During the training, students listened attentively, taking notes on key points. In the interactive Q&A session, they actively posed questions and engaged in in-depth discussions with the engineers. This session provided the students with a more comprehensive and profound insight into the IoT industry.
Production Site Tour and Hands-On Learning
In addition to theoretical learning, the company organized a tour of its production facilities. On the factory floor, students witnessed the production processes of IoT devices, learning about the technical highlights and operational standards of each stage. Some students even had the opportunity to operate certain devices, experiencing the charm of technology firsthand.
Throughout the tour, the students displayed great enthusiasm and curiosity. They observed carefully, took detailed notes, and frequently consulted the on-site engineers with their questions. This hands-on experience offered a clear and direct understanding of the production flow and technological applications of IoT devices
