Before the competition, the ÇGM GÖK-HAN Rocket Team successfully passed the launch preparation report (AHR) of the TEKNOFEST 2024 high-altitude rocket competition and obtained the launch site qualification. The team launched the rocket from Aksaray between September 9 and 16, successfully completed 3 reporting and assembly stages, and successfully launched the rocket intact.
During the qualification round, the ÇGM GÖK-HAN team utilized EBYTE's E22-300T37S module for the rocket's data link, along with the E22-400T30D module at the ground control station. This choice ensured stable communication throughout the flight, impressing the judges with the team's ability to maintain effective communication over such long distances. In this flight, the ÇGM GÖK-HAN Rocket Team achieved a speed of 1.3 Mach and a vertical acceleration of 12G. The rocket reached its peak altitude in just 30 seconds after ignition, showcasing its exceptional engineering design and manufacturing capabilities. Ultimately, the rocket attained an approximate height of 4,900 meters, demonstrating the team's technical prowess and innovative spirit.
