Introduction to Automatic Gate Retrofit

This cost-effective retrofit solution converts the existing company entrance gate into an automatic sensing gate based on the E54-24LD12 series mmWave radar module, adding contactless automatic opening/closing functionality.

The retrofit can be completed by simply connecting the gate control line to the radar sensing module. Field tests show that the gate opens smoothly automatically when a person approaches within 1 meter, with no additional operation required. This automatic upgrade greatly improves access convenience and reduces unnecessary contact.

The E54-24LD12 (A/B/C/D) series are wide-coverage human micro-motion mmWave sensors from EBYTE. They integrate a minimalist 24GHz sensor hardware design and intelligent human micro-motion sensing algorithm firmware:
